I, George J. Mink III, have been studying and practicing fine and cartoon arts for over 25 years. I've had independent comic books published in my name, and I make a small income selling paintings and portraits by commission, usually using Acrylic and Ink Media. I have sold artwork to people across 5 of the seven continents, and dozens of nations. I would say that my artwork stands out most highly in the fact that the vast majority of my patrons are women....My service as a teacher will stand out in that I will be able to learn the "why" as to how I've attracted this demographic, while I teach you various techniques in painting and illustration, and various other artistic media renderings. I've won 2nd place in a 5k Run(Philadelphia cancer-fighting event) T shirt design contest. I have influenced plotlines in the (now defunct) Marvel comic book known as "Spider-Girl,"(Would have been hired to illustrate that book too, if Disney hadn't purchased the company and cancelled the book after well over 130 issues...the LONGEST running Marvel Comic book starring a female character). I've also been hammering at the doors of Hasbro, Takara, and IDW publishing with ambitions of writing and illustrating a "Beast Wars" sequel.
