About
I am a local Latina Artist that concentrates on empowering our youth with culture and heritage thru The beauty of Art. I’ve workedwith the inner city youth for several years, and am currently teaching art in 4 Schools within the Trenton public school system. I love Art and believe that it’s a language we can speak without using words.
I enjoy bringing life into the eyes of the children thru Art. Showing them a language without the choice of words....just color and movement. I love to see their faces light up, when they see the possibilities....

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Usually what I like to do is get to know my student...their likes, and dislikes, hobbies, etc., this helps me as far as “direction” is concerned. Afterwards, we work together, we build together, and the artistic bon is formed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Fine Arts and Childcare development for two years in Mercer County Community College. My experience is within the Inner City of Trenton NJ, as I have taught, and continue to teach Art in the community for four different locations throughout the City.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Prices vary, and can be discussed upon inquiry.
How did you get started teaching?
I have been an Artist all my life. Was brought up in the Art Community of Trenton NJ’s Artworks Program. I wanted to be able to give back. The Arts have been removed from a lot of our schools and I believe that it’s a necessity for children everywhere.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with Many types of students, up to and including DYFS Children, At Risk Children, and everything in between
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I just opened my very first gallery....so my most receding event that i am fond of is this amazing milestone November 25th 2017
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do your research, and try to connect with them on more levels other than Art...so that when you create you can both build.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should be able to have some kind of idea of where they want to be artistically but be open to learning every medium in the field
