The Creative Gypsy
About
Are you ready for a FUN new experience that your friends won't forget? The Creative Gypsy is a traveling art teacher dedicated to helping you discover your inner artist! No painting experience necessary.
Throw a party, invite your friends, pop some bottles and embrace that creativity!
I will be with you every step of the way as you eat, drink and paint your way to a one-of-a-kind piece of artwork that you will take home at the end of the class.
$35/student
Minimum: 10 students
Maximum: 30 students*
(*Message me if you would like a larger class)
For parties of 20 or more, I will have an assistant with me (at no extra charge).
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE:
1) A SPACE FOR CLASS: Preferably NOT on carpet floors as paint will stain! Recommend: cement (think garage), hardwood or tile floors, or even outdoors if it is a lovely day.
2) SINK: I will need a space to fill cups with water, and to wash paints at the end. If it is not available, at least provide a hose and I will bring a bucket for my brushes! :-)
3) TABLES & CHAIRS: I can bring some, but I can only pack so much in my car! :-)
BOOK THE CREATIVE GYPSY FOR YOUR NEXT EVENT!
The Birthday Guy/Gal gets to paint for FREE!
(only one per party)

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Alot of us are pretty quick to talk ourselves down with phrases like, "mine's going to come out horrible" or "I'm not creative". I am here to tell you that EVERYONE is creative in their own way, including you! Embrace the fun and try something NEW that will get those creative juices flowing. I will be your personal cheerleader and will provide as much assistance as you need. I guarantee you will have a blast and come out with a work of art you can be proud of - because you did it!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been drawing and painting ever since I was a child! I received my Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, and I am currently enjoying being a Teacher at Painting With A Twist!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say, look for the PASSION. If you don't feel excited after reading their description or see the spark in their eye (if they have a personal photo) or hear the warmth in their voice (if you speak to them).... then keep on searching!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Do you have trouble hearing or seeing things from a distance?
-- I would recommend sitting you in the front.
