I have been photographing for over 50 years. I particularly like to photograph nature and wildlife but take all kinds of photos including sports and portraits.
I use Lightroom to edit my photos. I DO NOT USE PHOTOSHOP.
I do not do film developing in a darkroom.
I was a school teacher for 36 years so I am able to teach at whatever level we find your photography skills.
I have also been giving professional slide shows for over 40 years.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to find out what the students want to learn and what they already know. I then begin teaching with that input in mind. One young lady told me that after an hour and a half she had learned more than she had after taking an entire course somewhere else.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a School teacher for 36 years and have been photographing for more than 50 years. With my knowledge of photgraphy and my experience of teaching, my students say they can understand the basics of photography better after meeting with me. I have handouts that you can take home to review what we went over.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My standard price is $40 per hour. I do work before you come each time in order to be better prepared so you are really getting more than one hour of my time.
