Kathryn Radakovich Voice, Piano, Flute Lessons
About
With 15 years of experience teaching all levels of voice (elementary, high school, collegiate), I am a confident, patient, and creative teacher. I have worked with all age levels, ranging from 4 years old all the way up to 82! I work with students to develop healthy vocal production built upon the foundation of efficient and supportive breathing as well as body alignment, which allows them to begin to expand their range, ability to project, and consistency of tone. These techniques support singing across any and all genres and I am comfortable working with students in classical, jazz, pop, musical theater, soul, R&B, and more. In addition to developing and strengthening existing vocal abilities, I teach people how to read music confidently and how to explore their own artistry in a personal and meaningful way. Whether coaching students for a long period of time, preparing students for an audition, or helping someone feel more confident singing at a family wedding or event, I'm committed to helping all my students develop a joy for singing!
Piano:
I studied piano from childhood through college and with 12 years of experience teaching beginning to intermediate piano, I feel confident coaching all ages of students, whether they be young children exploring music for the first time, or adults who have always wanted to learn a new instrument or perhaps revisit the instrument from their youth. My lessons incorporate foundational piano techniques as well as music theory and composition. In addition, I encourage my students to explore the instrument, play, have fun, and be creative!
I most enjoy seeing my students progress and further their love and excitement for music.
