I love being able to see a young hooper connect the concepts I've taught them to experience success.
It's those building blocks that make the positive experiences that keep kids connected to playing hoops, and THAT's what I love to see!

How did you get started teaching?
I always had the analytical bug when it came to sports. I always wanted to know the "how's" and the "why's".
After I graduated college, I started to coach a local girls varsity team.
We did horrible my first year. 2 wins and 17 losses. Lost our worst game 85-15 and I got 7 technicals.
So needless to say, I had some work to do.
So I put together a summer program and we busted it HARD and we won 6 games the next year and went to the playoffs!
Needless to say, I was hooked ever since!
Over the last 20+ years, I have just fine tuned my craft!
