I have been mentoring kids for 10 + yrs. I play with them and teach. I have been an assistant coach at East Allegheny High School for 6 yrs with the boys and Head Coach with the middle school girls. I will not only focus on your basketball skills but also LIFE skills. I wrote a book called Basketball and Life which explains how being a better ball player can make you a better person through hard work and dedication.
I have a passion for basketball and kids so when I am around both , its not work for me.

Honestly it changed my whole life. I grew up with no dad and no outlet besides being outside and nothing good with being outside in a bad neighborhood. Reaching back made me develop characteristics and gave me opportunities that I wouldn’t have had without the resources of reaching back. I always had an outlet and I always have a type of support systems that made me have faith in my ability to become a better person.

Mr.Dave made me a better person and better basketball player. He taught me how to read the defense and know where your teammates are on the floor. That basketball is a mental game as well as a physical game he helped me develop both and grow to the player I am today.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Understanding their current skill level, strengths, weaknesses, and personal goals (e.g., improving shooting, ball-handling, defense, etc.).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently coach middle school girls and assistant coach with JV and Varsity boys. I also Mentor at a highschool and Life Coach as well. I have been mentoring for 15+ yrs.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I have No standard pricing system. I can work with your budget and the level of experience plays a part as well.
How did you get started teaching?
I love kids and for some reason they gravitate towards me. I think it's because I never forgot that I used to be them. I think adults lose the KID in them as they get older.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with ages 5-25. Elementary to middle school to highschool and college.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask questions!! You deserve to know as much about your Teacher/coach/ mentor as you can before hiring them.
