About
The thing that makes my lessons stand out is that I always make each lesson fun and exciting. I make sure that I learn about the students' interests and do my best to incorporate those into the lessons. My personal teaching philosophy is this: If you're laughing, then you're learning! Fun experiences tend to stick in your mind more than dull ones. Also, if you're having fun then you'll want to continue on that journey and not feel so discouraged.
Everything! I love everything about languages and helping others to learn them. There are so many "small wins" along the way that can be celebrated each day. When you add up all of these small wins then suddenly you realize that you have the big picture of being able to communicate effectively in a new language. Enjoying those moments with my students is one of my favorite parts of what I do.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by listening carefully to the student and hearing about their goals, concerns, and challenges. Then, I develop a plan for the first few lessons which I will consider with student to make sure that we are headed in the right direction and that we are on the same page. From there, I am constantly evaluating and adapting the lessons for each individual student to make sure that they are getting the most out of their personal lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a TEFL certificate. This training has prepared me to teach English as a Foreign language. While completing this certificate I specialized in teaching young learners. In addition to this certificate, I have taken two seperate courses to learn Hindi and Spanish. These courses not only taught me the fundamentals of those languages, but they also taught me how to study languages - different techniques and tricks that can be applied to any language that one may be learning.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Price for each set of lessons is based on the needs of the students. The typical prices range from $20 to $40 dollars. This is dependent on many factors, including length of lesson and what is being taught.
How did you get started teaching?
From a very young age I have always been interested in different languages. Shortly after high school I began taking learning Spanish more seriously. As I continued on that journey, I began to realize exactly how much I love the process and I realized that I wanted to help others to do the same.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have experience working with a wide variety of students. My students have been as young as 3 years old and my oldest students have been over 60 years old. I have taught in group settings and one-on-one. I also have experience teaching online and in-person. I have taught people from all over the world how to speak Engligh and I also have experience teaching English speakers how to speak Hindi.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
