About

KISHI KAISEI Literally means: Wake from death and return to life. Its Japanese proverbial meaning is best translated to: To come out of a desperate situation and make a complete return in one sudden burst. It represents the essence of what martial arts is all about.

This 'school', although not a brick and mortar Dojo at this time, is founded on the idea of helping those in need whether it is to get in shape, stop a bully, protect a loved one, gain wellness and peace of mind or to cultivate a new you. Instruction occurs at various locations depending on class size and space availability.

Founder and Head Instructor Christopher Rogers invites others to share in his journey in martial arts, fitness and personal development as he establishes this life long dream of owning and operating a school where he can teach and hone martial arts as a daily activity. Mr. Rogers is especially happy to find new students and guest instructors who share his commitment to doing good in the world by helping others bring out their personal best.

Mr. Rogers' training started in 1982 and he continues to develop as a teacher/mentor/student. He has a broad based exposure in martial arts with advanced ranking in several styles. Registered with the American Teachers Association of Martial Arts and a member of the United States Martial Arts Federation. He is an experienced security officer/supervisor, self defense instructor, tournament referee/competitor as well as a personal fitness trainer.

There's nothing more rewarding than bringing a student beyond challenges in personal protection, self esteem and physical fitness.
