Work with someone who will demystify the "hard" stuff like drawing from life, understanding color and how colors interact with each other, and who lets you ask all the questions you want. Work with someone who is kind and who loves to teach.
Why do you want to do art? What excites you visually regarding art, color, pattern, etc.?
