De-Mystify Your Voice!

De-Mystify Your Voice!

About

After earning my BFA in Musical Theater and a minor in Music from Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts, my fascination with the mystery of the human voice led me on a quest to demystify it. I continued my study at the University of Pittsburgh to explore the science of vocal physiology, pathology, and acoustics in the Dept. of Communication Science & Disorders. I then applied these concepts in my own singing at University of Washington in Seattle, studying with the leading experts on evidence-based vocal pedagogy.

It is my mission to help my students demystify their own voices and take the guesswork out of singing! I also love to incorporate fundamentals of piano and music theory into singing lessons, as I believe the skill of musical fluency to be instrumental (sike) to a singer’s growth.

Singing (like any physical skill) is athletic, visceral, and demands total control of our bodies. No matter your style, I can teach you the evidence-based techniques to find your truest and freest voice. We’ll make all sorts of weird noises and have a lot of fun on the way. I’m looking forward to helping you unlock your expressive and musical potential through the freedom of vocal mastery!
