What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I let the student's interests dictate the lesson, and if they aren't quite sure I'm able to guide them in a direction to try different things out until we find something that works!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Private lessons in piano and percussion (classical and jazz). Undergraduate study in music (classical percussion and composition). 15 years of writing music for classical ensembles. Performed/recorded with over 30 bands. Church organist and music director.
