About
I am passionate and committed to helping people find happiness and healing through art and energy. If you think you can't draw, I can help you learn. If you think you aren't creative, I can show you how that is not true. I am teaching in a variety of locations and online or by phone. I am also teaching privately or groups.
I have been an artist all of my life and enjoy opportunities to help others find their creative space.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I have class descriptions and supply lists. Once a student picks a class they are interested in, we set a time and place for instruction.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in Graphic Design and am close to finishing an MFA in Web and New Media. I have learned a number of other art forms.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Private instruction starts at $55/hr and group instruction begins at $25/hr.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always been a teacher at heart. I taught aerobics while I was in college and taught my children after they were born. I taught in private schools and have taught art classes when I had a gallery.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all sorts of students including handicapped students, both adults and children.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I made stained glass jewelry at a fine dining restaurant where they have beautiful stained glass windows. I called it "wear the windows." Their customers enjoyed it and I will be doing it again.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
There are teachers who tow the line and teachers who are more relaxed. I am relaxed and encouraging. You want to pick a teacher that you connect with, so talk to them, talk to me and make a decision. Sometimes it is as simple as schedule. If it coordinates, great!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
If you know your learning style, that can be helpful. Also share your strengths and weaknesses and make sure you can communicate well with your instructor.
