I have just completed my 5th season at Salve Regina University as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach and renewed my contract for the next season. My primary roles at Salve include recruiting, film analysis, game breakdown, and post play. Prior to landing in Newport, I had coached for multiple AAU clubs in Rhode Island and Massachusetts at a regional and national level, started and ran a successful town league, trained numerous collegiate players, and coached at the many levels of school aged basketball.
I believe in positive coaching and collaborating with players and am a USA Basketball Gold Licensed Coach, NCAA certified coach, and a Women's Basketball Coaches Association Member. I use my life's lessons and obstacles to teach my players and set examples. During the off season I can often be found working out players of all ages and genders, speaking at various camps about recruiting, running camps, and coaching at various clinics around the New England area.
I enjoy progress and seeing my players grow on and off the court. I also am a realist with my clients, I will be honest with you and work on your development to put you in the best situations to further your playing career. As players progress we talk about college, recruiting, academics and all the things players need to know and navigate that many people may not be telling them.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I meet with all students and their parents to assess their goals and expectations as well as their current level of play.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an NCAA women’s basketball coach, USA Basketball Gold Licensed Coach, member of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Group sessions are $25 for 90minutes with a maximum of 15 players, team and individual training have varying prices based on the individuals and teams needs.
How did you get started teaching?
with over twenty years coaching, at higher levels I saw a need for game specific fundamental training and started working with players getting their footwork right.
What types of students have you worked with?
i have worked with players age 5 and up, my training is for the serious basketball players that are aspiring to play at the highest level available to them at their age.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
ensure they are focused on development, drills shouldn’t stop when a player remembers them, they should stop when the player can’t forget them. Also ensure the coach is well versed in what you’re looking for, you should ask questions and feel comfortable with the coaches answers, if you’re not they may be the wrong coach for you.
