About
I began teaching art out of my family's home at age 16, when I discovered the limited exposure to art classes that many kids have. I fell in love with it and have been passionate about sharing the arts ever since. I've been teaching for the past 12 years to all ages-18 months old to senior citizens.
I teach customized private or small-group art lessons in many different mediums in my home studio. Mediums include but are not limited to: drawing, painting (oil and acrylic), watercolor, paper crafts, photography, printmaking, sculpture, jewelry, journaling, collage/mixed media, environmental art, art history. I also teach general art for homeschoolers or as after-school enrichment.
Each curriculum is tailored to fit a specific student's or group's needs, interests, and skill level. All are welcome!

I also teach arts-based workshops and teambuilding experiences to businesses and other groups as a way to show people the value of art in everyday life, work, teaching, and learning situations. Through these and my YouTube channel, I teach fun, bite-sized art techniques as tools for improving skills such as communication and teambuilding, memory and concentration, effective feedback and workplace environment, and more.
I love seeing people of all ages discover all the benefits that a fine arts education can bring, and how the arts can connect to all different disciplines! My favorite part about what I do is getting to customize each curriculum to the individual, making it as meaningful as possible for him or her.
