Grochowski Music Studio
About
My lessons are very organic because I don't teach out of a book. The student and I work together to form a lesson plan and move together down the path the student chooses.
I have toured internationally as well as nationally and have performed in several different genres.
I enjoy watching students grow into the greatest musicians they can become. I have seen some of my students go from beginners to All-State jazz guitarists. Some have gone on to perform in their churches or in rock bands. It is very satisfying to see all the hard work pay off for the students benefit.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1. I ask the new student what their goals are. Do they want to learn chords, notes, how to read, etc.
2. I ask them what genre's of music they are interested in. It makes no sense to try teach a student jazz when they are interested in classical or rock music.
3. We build a plan together to pursue their musical goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have played guitar and bass over 30 years. I have toured the world and performed in 46 of the 50 states. Currently, I perform over 150 nights a year. My performance experience gives me a knowledge of what a student needs to move forward in the music world.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, I normally charge $35/hour for teaching.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all levels of students (age 5 to senior adults). Some can read music, some can't. Some can read tabs, some can't. Some have good ears, some don't.
