About
I love to paint and design jewelry, it is my passion. I have been working with children and adults for 30 years. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and did graduate work at Bridgewate State University in Art Education, earning 22 credits. I have so much fun when I am teaching art, seeing the joy and satisfaction on my students faces when they express themselves artistically. The love of art is something that we can take with us wherever we go as long a we live. I show my work in a couple of aglleries on the Cape and received the Barlow Outstanding Art Student of my graduating class in high school.
Painting is my passion and I love to share my Joy of painting with others watch them grow as artists. I enjoy working with children and adults.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When I'm working with a new student I like to find out what style of painting they're interested in for instance realistic or abstract. I also like to find out what type of experience they have painting and what skill level they're at. I'm also interested in finding out what skills or techniques they would like to learn. I like to immersion teach where we start a painting right away and I teach the skills and techniques as we go.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
