Sheryl has so much experience, also when you see her beautiful paintings. I am so inspired....I am very thankful that I am able to take lessons with her.

Sheryl is an excellent painting instructor, no matter if you are a beginner who has never painted, or an experienced painter looking to improve. Her class is made up of a brief, practical and meaningful lesson, and then lots of time for self painting. The atmosphere of her studio is great...friendly, fun, but also peaceful and relaxing, a very conducive environment for painting. Sheryl spends time with each student individually on the development of their painting, no matter what stage, and gives positive guidance on how to make it a better painting. She is comfortable and effective at evaluating all styles of painting, from abstract to realism, pallet knife or brush. I have token lessons from Sheryl for about 4 years and I can not believe the progress I have made as a painter in that time!

Sheryl brings an awareness of how to create a scene. The class is relaxing and just enjoyable to learn the different aspects of how a painting comes together. I highly recommend the class to anyone who has not painted before or wants to improve their skills.
