What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The most important first step is getting to know each other by sharing likes, dislikes, goal setting and procedures of the artistic learning process. The learning should feel cooporative and inspiring for both!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art, where I also recieved my Masters of Arts in Teaching. I have 6 years teaching experience with children and adults.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically like to do at least 6 classes (1 class per week) in order to guide the artists in their painting from start to finish. In the beginning, classes are around 1 hour, and towards the end, can range up to 3 hrs. Each class (1-3hrs) is $100
