About

After living in New Zealand three years, and starting a small business there, and teaching small groups Of people how to paint and their own piece of furniture in their own “taste” and style, It was then I realized how many people, have such a desire to chalk paint and more, however just don’t know where to start or a little bit scared. The class is a very detailed, and throw and laid-back. We usually take about seven hours so the coat dry in between, take a break, I enjoy preparing gourmet snacks. Every single Person that I’ve helped teach, has walked away at the end of the day thrilled, and some with happy tears in their eyes, because they didn’t think that they new or were capable of doing so. Person that I’ve helped teach, has walked away at the end of the day thrilled, and some with happy tears in their eyes, because they didn’t think that they knew or were capable of doing so. 90% of the time, when the day lesson is over. They walk away with their special piece of her and she painted and designed and take it home the same day. Along with valuable lessons. It’s not like going and painting a blank canvas instructed with certain colors or designs at a studio art. It’s their furniture, their vision, and the final product.

The look of self- accomplishment And sometimes often a big “wow” factor. When they see what THEY were able to do themselves with instruction, and especially to a sentimental piece of theirs. It makes my heart smile from the inside. also, knowing the fact that they walked away with enough guidance and hands-on work to start doing something at home if they choose. I also enjoy reaching out to them or them to me if needed for any advice afterwards, complementary .

The lack of it is once I arrived to the class. The fact that I was able to do it with my mother, however many were there that we’re all alone. Before the day was over it felt like we were all good friends. I learned so much and was thrilled that A family heirloom, was designed to actually family match my home and decor. Leah was so wow! Not rushed or prim and proper.  Laid-back, and I have boodles of energy, so I am willing to share some of that too.   They will go away with their special unique piece, any of their leftover paint, and enough confidence to start a project at home .
