Christy Jones

Hello! I'm Christy, and I'm a 10-year piano instructor and lifelong piano player. My local music experience includes being an accompanist for the Shawnee Mission School District high schools. In that position, I had the opportunity to accompany solo voice, band and string students in local and state competitions. I also enjoyed a brief time as the Music Librarian for the SMSD before starting a family. I've also enjoyed playing for many weddings and local community events.

I believe in making piano lessons enjoyable for everyone no matter what your age! My goals as your teacher would be to build a strong foundation on piano fundamentals while incorporating duets and familiar songs you can be playing right from the start!
