Epic Musical Journey

I help people fall in love with music! My lessons have been described as "fun, not stuffy", and I am very experienced at adapting to the unique personality and interests of each student. I do this through engaging and interesting lessons where I use songs the student loves to explore music fundamentals, and just how amazing music is. After teaching thousands of lessons on guitar, ukulele, drums, piano, bass, and more, I have created and collected resources that support students in getting a truly positive and inspiring start.

90% of my students are 1-1 private lessons over Zoom, in all time zones of the US, and a few international locations. I may also have limited availability for lessons in your home in the Green Bay, WI area. I'm nearly fully booked, but have space for 1 or 2 more students in my private lesson schedule during daytime hours, Saturday morning, and possibly afterschool hours.

My rates for private Zoom lessons are:

$60 / 30 minute 1-on-1 class

$90 / 45 minute

$120 / 60 minute

For in-home options, I could work out a travel fee based on your location.

I also have several group options available both in-person, and online. These options are very affordable, and very fun!

My goal is to help my students to become well-rounded, creative, and passionate musicians, whether it is building the confidence to perform at a talent show, writing their own songs, learning to sing as they play, or mastering the songs of their favorite artists.

My bio:

I have been teaching students for over 15 years, all ages but mostly kids, and have been full-time for the past 6. I can help students master the guitar (electric, acoustic, classical), Ukulele, and Loog guitar (3-string guitar). Many of my students also choose a secondary instrument, and I can get them to an intermediate level on piano, drums, bass, violin, harmonica, flute, and voice.

-Ran a music school with multiple instructors in Asheville, NC.

-Music Major at Kutztown University, 2006-2008

-Received private instruction in guitar, piano, drums, oboe, bassoon, melophone and voice

-Teaching private music lessons since 2009

-Studied Stage Performance for Musicians with Tom Jackson, Nashville, 2009

-Managed stage and live sound for music festivals of over 2,000 attendees

-Produced recordings for orchestras, rock bands, songwriters, and choirs
