Hi,

My name is B.K. Jr. I am a high school educator (exceptional education tutor) and a professional musician based in Nashville, Tennessee. My 'forte' is in cinematic and full orchestral compositions - in addition to that, I produce local artists, I'm a song writer and an audio engineer. I've been composing for almost 20 years and I have been playing instruments for more than 20 years. I obtain a degree in audio engineering from SAE Institute of Nashville. I am proficient in Ableton, Logic, Finale and ProTools, with a basic understanding of FL Studios, Reason and Cubase. I have been nominated and awarded for accolades such as best original score, sound design and editing.

The piano and French Horn are my primary instruments. I can teach music theory, scoring for films/video games/TV, give piano lessons, recording lessons, audio engineering and studio maintenance and composition. I teach all ages.

I believe patience and an attitude of seeking understanding is imperative while teaching. In the world of today, I believe that music is a special ingredient in an effort to heal. I have a responsibility to pay that forward. I follow the pace of my students and their goals. I will never pontificate on material that I do not know. If I do not know the answer to a question, we will find out together.
