Welcome! I am a long time music teacher in Brentwood, TN, offering personalized and comprehensive guitar, music theory, and music production lessons.
I have played all over the world with many great artists (Bruce Springsteen, Nils Lofgren, Jeffrey "Skunk" Baxter, Tony Trischka, Mike Marshall, The Nighthawks and many more!), written 16 Guitar, Theory/Harmony and keyboard instruction books for Alfred Music, been a composer for Film, TV, Video for Fox, PBS, Political clients, the Smithsonian and more.
I can teach most styles of guitar: Blues, Rock, Jazz, Folk, Latin, Fingerstyle (Thumb pickin'!), Slide, Lap Steel. Acoustic, Electric, Archtop, Nylon.
I own a studio in Brentwood and have produced records and songs for clients here since 2014. I'd be happy to produce yours or show you how to set up your own studio, learn how to record, mix, master, use EQ and Dynamics and much more.
I also teach songwriting and have taught at many songwriting clinics and camps.
