If interested in learning painting and drawing please visit my Facebook page, "Schmissrauter Collection of Fine Art" and send a private message. Or contact me by phone/text, (423) 618-7494. Please check out the photos of the work. I can teach almost any technique or style you would be interested in concerning painting and drawing. I specialize in charcoal, pastel, and oil and acrylic painting.
Art is an expression of the soul. Whether a profession or a hobby, it is one of the best therapies. Ever since the dawn of humanity, we've been making art, it's in our DNA! I enjoy the most about painting and drawing is the joy I receive from creating! No talent or skill is required! And absolutely NO judgements!!!
Reagen is patient and down to earth. He is very knowledgable and is good at teaching beginners. I made quick progress
Reagan is a skilled artist and a patient instructor. I highly recommend him!
Reagan is knowledgeable and I have learned a lot since taking lessons .
Reagan communicated with me in-depth and often as we determined a date for my first class and to get a good sense of his process and my needs. He was waiting for me upon my arrival and even helped with my briefcase full of paints and brushes. Reagan's studio is nicely set up and organized for a variety of media that he uses and teaches as well as some examples of his work.
No talent or previous skill is required. I will work with any student who wants to learn the process of painting and drawing. No judgements! I'll start at your pace and what YOU are comfortable with. You're the boss!!!
Extensive education under an apprenticeship with Daud Akhriev, Lyme Academy College of Fine Art, and various under-studies with several artists as well as have attended an extensive amount of workshops.
Typically 20$ an hour but I am very generous with my time!!! Art is not about being on the clock!!!
Experience with many, many great teachers of my own. And several students, satisfaction is garunteed!
Beginners to professionals.
Memorial Hospital dedication in and memory of Mark Milan Schmissrauter, art show with Daud Akhriev, Melissa Hefferlin and Timur Akhriev. Featuring The permanent installment of a study by Daud Akhriev dedicated to the memory of my beloved brother.
Keep it simple. Choose a teacher that will benefit YOU!
Don't think! Over thinking can make dull art!
