Janaina Fernandes

Welcome! I have over 23 years of violin playing. I’ve been playing professionally for the last 16 years in a variety of groups and orchestras in different places in the world, including Brazil, Portugal, Italy and the United States.

Alongside my performance career I’ve also enjoyed teaching this beautiful art of playing the violin. I truly believe music is a powerful tool to connect to other people and even change their lives! My teaching philosophy is to help my students to achieve what they envision in the future for themselves, whether it is a professional music career or just a passionate hobby.
