I love working with Aly! Aly is very knowledgeable and teaches me new painting skills every class. She is very kind and a great support. I recommend Aly to all levels! I look forward to what we will create.

I enjoyed my lessons with Mrs.Callaghan for her knowledge, kindness, and patience. She never rushes me. Easy to reschedule with, very understanding that life happens. She sends me the material I need before we get started. She is always going over the lesson before our zoom session, asking if I have any questions at the end. She encourages me when I make a mistake or don't get something right away. She's a great artist that cares about teaching, and I know she wants to help me improve my drawing skills

From the basics of pencil art and perspective to acrylic and then oils, Aly’s expertise and knowledge of the subject is tops among art teachers. The occasional drop-in of her husband is an added plus with his artistic knowledge. I’ve enjoy taking lessons at Mallards Art Studio.

Aly brings years of professional teaching experience, sharing her knowledge and passion for art with each student. Every lesson is a building block forming a strong foundation in various art mediums. Aly is patient and kindhearted, encouraging each student to strive to develop their best artistic abilities.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I have a face to face meeting  via the internet meeting where I  encourage future students to show me the art work they have done.  During this time I listen to their expectation and we develop a path to develop their interest/talent. Then proceeding to using the Skype for example,  to deliver the lesson.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I hold a BA in Fine Art and MA in Education
