Bass Lessons With Full Time Musician/Teacher

My name is Spencer. I am a FULL TIME teacher and I have been playing bass guitar for over 14 years - and teaching for the past 8 years.

Music is MY LIFE! -- Teaching, performing, recording and producing. So, if you are looking for someone serious (yet friendly), punctual, disciplined and dedicated, I am that person!

We can have the lessons at your house. Prices vary accordingly.

I am a very dedicated and patient teacher, and whether you are just starting to play the bass or you've been playing for a few years and want to take it to the next level, I will be your help and assistance.

Using the bass I will teach you:

- Repertoire Development: the songs you want to learn!

- Ear Training: development of the ear's capacity to recognize intervals, chords, chord progressions and rhythms

- Performance Clinic: rhythms, scales, arpeggios, triads, chord progressions

- Music Theory

- Techniques

- Stylistic Awareness: Blues, Rock, Funk, Motown, Bossa Nova, Reggae, Ska, etc...
