Kathleen Bani Harp Lessons

I am a music teacher with over 20 years of experience who currently enjoys an active studio teaching folk harp, concert harp and piano. My students are diverse--ranging from beginners (of any age!), to accomplished musicians interested in taking up a new instrument or perfecting an old.

I have a very flexible approach to teaching. Indeed, adapting to different abilities, learning styles, and musical preferences are what makes teaching interesting and engaging for me. Students come to me with all kinds of different reasons for learning the harp. Let loose in the world, my students have taken their harps into both hospitals and pop bands.

For those who would like the structure and the challenge of following the goals laid out by a conservatory system, I prepare students for exams (both performance and theory exams).
