About
Hi. I am a multi-discipline, mixed media artist, and cultural entrepreneur living and working in the Mid-South area.
As an artist, as well as a teacher, my focus has always been on people, personalities, and the story they bring into this world. I aim to provide lessons that enable my students to fully develop their individual story through drawing, painting, or another medium of their choice.
I earned a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art with a concentration in Sculpture from the University of Memphis in 2014. My professional career has dipped into nearly every aspect of the visual art world ranging from graphic artist, art teacher, print professional, and art council director.
The most enjoyable aspect of teaching art is seeing students grow and their abilities (and self-confidence) increase over time. Drawing is translating the way YOU see the world around you, and as an artist mentor, I am able to view the world through the eyes of my students - which has never failed to impress me.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First lessons are always a conversation and skills gauge to determine what the student's goals are and how much experience they already have. After that, we begin working through the foundations of art while creating work from the beginning that is meaningful to the student.
