About

I currently dive myself into photography for it is a hobby like no other (in my opinion). I want to personally help beginners to have fundamental understandings of using their dslr and photoshop so that they can pursue their passion for taking photos with more ease.

I have taken 4 film classes in high school as well as won second place for Media Production at STN in 2014 where I was in charge of complying a video montage of photographs at the convention (where I found my passion for photography).

I have taken 2 photography college courses.

I have been to a photo workshop in New York City held by National Geographic in May, 2017.

For me, I enjoy capturing a beautiful landscape or a moment in time to have for the rest of my life. It also helps me take my mind off of things while I am taking photos by focusing solo on that, which can actually improve your subjective well being (happiness) according to neuroscience research studies.

    Frequently asked questions

First, I will ask about that student's experince in photography if any. Then I will ask them to go take some photos with me at a location and see that student's skill level with the camera. Next, I will critque his/her photos with both positive and constructive comments. From there, I will start providing lessons on things for him/her to work on to improve their skill level.

I have taken 4 film classes, two photography classes, and have participated in a photo workshop held by National Geographic.

First meet up will be to see what you know or can produce with raw pictures (which will be free). After that, it will be $45 per lesson

I would advise to look at the teacher's photos first. Some teachers at better at one type of photography than another. For example, I am great with landscapes and open exposure photography, but not so great at portraits. You should find a teacher that is good or better at a style of photography that you want to do.

Will I practice on my photography skills that will be taught?

Is this the style of photography that I want to learn more about?

    Is photography my passion?

Will I be okay with accpeting the critques given to me?
