I have been studying Guitar and music as a whole for 12 years. I've been playing live music for 5 years around the southeast. Attended Belmont University. I love music and love teaching new/intermediate students! Lessons can consist of learning theory, any genre of music, and even just jamming. I can come to you, facetime or you can come to me.
My son David, has been taking lessons with Andy for 3 weeks now. He has somehow found a way to keep my son engaged and excited about learning the guitar.
Working with Andy was fun!
Andy teaches with ease and passion for music. I learned a lot!
The first session, I will get a feel for where your skills are and then create a lesson plan specified to that. If you are a beginner we will start with the basic chords as well as learn a simple song of your preference and advance from there.
I took lessons for 4 years starting at 10 and never stopped playing since. I have in two different touring bands. Played Solo shows for 5 years. Belmont University Student.
$50 an hour/ $25 half hour
I realized that I get just as much enjoyment from teaching as I do playing and learning.
Beginner to Intermediate
It is important to choose someone you are comfortable with. Enjoying the sessions makes for quicker and easier learning.
What exactly is it that you want to get out of these lessons?
Are you willing to put in practice time outside of the lessons?
