FAQs


What is your typical process for working with a new student?

The first session, I will get a feel for where your skills are and then create a lesson plan specified to that. If you are a beginner we will start with the basic chords as well as learn a simple song of your preference and advance from there. 


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I took lessons for 4 years starting at 10 and never stopped playing since. I have in two different touring bands. Played Solo shows for 5 years. Belmont University Student. 


Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$50 an hour/ $25 half hour


How did you get started teaching?

I realized that I get just as much enjoyment from teaching as I do playing and learning.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

It is important to choose someone you are comfortable with. Enjoying the sessions makes for quicker and easier learning.
