About
Hi, I’m Ben—a professional trumpet player and teacher based in Nashville. Since 2017, I’ve been helping students of all levels unlock their full musical potential, while building a versatile performance career that spans live shows, studio work (Netflix, video games etc.) and military service. In 2020, I joined the U.S. Army National Guard as a bandsman with the 129th Army Band. As a military musician, I’ve performed across the U.S. and Europe at official government events, public outreach concerts, and military ceremonies.
Outside the military, I maintain a thriving freelance career in Nashville’s vibrant music scene. I’m currently the full-time trumpet player at a professional playhouse, performing hundreds of musical theater productions each year with them. I also maintain a private studio of 15–20 students, while freelancing for:
