I love to work with people to find what they are trying to express about themselves and thier experience, as well as what is most important to them, through storytelling and visual artwork.

Life is a process, and a practice in visual art can help us to define, refine, and share our stories with our community and the world at large. In this day in age when we are all storytellers often to a large audience, I find that it is more important than ever to have a sturdy foundation in the visual arts as a means of interpreting what we see with critical thinking. Visual expression can also be very helpful tool to reach more people in a more complete and universal way, no matter what our focus is or will be in life.

I take a holistic approach to honing this skill in a way that I tailor to the student and thier personal experience.

I really enjoy working with people on color theory, drawing, painting, and animation, as well as comics and narrative.
