About this pro

I was previously a Teacher and then made a career switch to the wellness industry because that was where I felt my calling was leading me. I earned my Yoga License in 2016 and my Massage Therapy License in 2018, both in the state of Tennessee.

My lessons include: Your choice style of yoga (including focus on your goals), a 45-minute flow, a follow-up video recording of our class that way you can keep practicing on your own.

After experiencing the difference in my mind and body after receiving therapeutic bodywork and being a part of several yoga classes, I decided I wanted to continue helping others find balance and relieve them of their daily stresses. I wanted to help others feel a sense of healing.

I am quite familiar with the body and how muscles work with and against one other, so my general style of yoga incorporates improvement in body functions, getting the mind and body to work with each other. I want you to feel your best self so we will use simple props to perform effective self-massage techniques throughout our class, too!

I have taught various styles of yoga (restorative, vinyasa, power, sculpt, and mobility) at a handful of studios and have found I prefer working in a more intimate setting, one-on-one, with smaller groups, or virtually!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First, I'd love if we could find a time for a quick 15-minute phone call. Just to chat briefly about your goals for seeking my services and see when classes would work for you. If we can arrange a time we can both commit to, then I will direct you to completely a small questionnaire on my website.

Then, you will receive a follow-up email with all the information you will need (what tools you might want to use at home, our confirmed days/times for our upcoming lesson(s), our Zoom meeting link, and we would jump right in! :)

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have received my Yoga Teaching Certification and have been an active yoga instructor for 4 years. I completed schooling to become a Licensed Massage Therapist and passed my License exam. I also continue to complete the required additional Continuing Eduction to build upon my skillset. Allowing me to utilize my knowledge of the body to assist my client in their postures.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Yes, I charge $35 per each live-on screen lesson.

How did you get started teaching?

I had just moved to Nashville, TN and was transitioning out of teaching middle schoolers and into the wellness field. I was in search of more zen in my life and continuing in a career path that allowed me to assist others in life.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with anyone from first-timers to those with specific health or physical body-related goals, to those who want to try more advanced poses.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

When looking for the right instructor, find one whom you feel you can vibe with, one that you feel you can learn from, and/or one who will listen to your goals.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Students should feel motivated, yet realistic, about their level of commitment when scheduling lessons. As teachers, we look forward to being a part of your self-care and growth and spend time preparing a yoga lesson just for you! So be sure you're ready to set aside this YOU time.
