The Zen Chameleon
About
I was previously a Teacher and then made a career switch to the wellness industry because that was where I felt my calling was leading me. I earned my Yoga License in 2016 and my Massage Therapy License in 2018, both in the state of Tennessee. In 2022, I relocated to Portland, ME and provide yoga, meditation, and massage there, now.
My lessons include: Your choice style of yoga (including focus on your goals), meditation (length determined with student), equipment (if in person), and time after to share or discuss anything that may have come up for you.
After experiencing the difference in my mind and body after receiving therapeutic bodywork and being a part of several yoga classes, I decided I wanted to continue helping others find balance and relieve them of their daily stresses. I wanted to help others feel a sense of healing.
I am quite familiar with the body and how muscles work with and against one other, so my general style of yoga incorporates improvement in body functions, getting the mind and body to work with each other. I want you to feel your best self so we will use simple props to perform effective self-massage techniques throughout our class, too!
I have taught various styles of yoga (restorative, vinyasa, power, yin, sculpt, athletic mobility, and posture improvement) at a handful of studios and have found I prefer working in a more intimate setting, one-on-one, with smaller groups, or virtually!
