I have loved drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. I firmly believe that inculcating love of the arts is just as important as learning techniques. Its the passion of the artist that shows through their work and sets them apart. I work and experiment various media - water colors/pencils, acrylic, soft pastels, oil colors, alcohol ink and more. I can work with colors all day long without getting bored. Nature is my inspiration to paint.
The ability to let another individual discover the joy of being creative, of being able to create something that is an outcome of their imagination and work.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1. First class is an orientation + Class. Understanding where they are in terms of skill set of the kind of drawing/painting/medium they want to learn and where they want to go with the help of lessons. And then familiarising them with the approach and methodology of how I will administer the lesson customised to their skill set. I am open to customising the lessons to suit their specific requirements.
2. I will share the lesson plan - 1.5 -2 hours per week for 12 weeks. there will be milestone to meet every month. A student can meet the milestone in lesser time or more time. Price quoted is per hour. The objective is to help them work independently and well in whatever medium they have chosen to take lessons in.
3. Based on what they have understood and how they have progressed we can continue working together on learning more/different new tehcniques and/ or creating art works.
4. There is enough and more available in terms of resources on the internet to be able to learn drawing and painting. The student should be able to see the value in me teaching them and that should happen in the first 12 weeks.
