I have been playing flute for many years. I recently earned my B.M. in flute performance and am about to start working on my M.M. in flute performance and pedagogy. I love teaching flute just as much as I love playing flute! In lessons with me, we focus on body, tone, pitch, and basic technique. Every student is unique, so I tailor my lessons to suit each student. I learn just as much from my students as they learn from me! It's so important to me to meet my students where they are at. I set goals and expectations and expect my students to show up with a good attitude and prepared. However, I keep my environment low pressure and void of any judgement!
