About this pro

Hi my name is Danielle Gant, I graduated from Putnam City west High School in 2005. I had the opportunity to play  for Texas A&M University. I played at Texas A&M for four years. After completing my four years at Texas A&M I was selected number 16 in the 2009 WNBA draft. I had the opportunity to play in my first game, but then everything came to an end. I was cut from the team the day after my first game. I never gave up so again I worked hard to get a chance to play overseas in Istanbul Turkey for two years. After my time in Istanbul, I decided to get back to work, so I jumped on the first opportunity to play in Puerto Rico. After my stay in Puerto Rico, I became the assistant coach at Carl Albert State College for a year.
I had so many flaws in my game my freshman year in college, and now I look back on my high school career, and wonder how I could have changed some of my flaws. I am now located in Dallas Texas. I am ready to give the next athlete the workout they will need for the next level, weather its  middle school students or high school students. Every athlete has flaws and that is why I am taking the time out to help those student athletes fulfill their dreams.

I enjoy providing each athlete with a firm skill set and knowledge of the game. In my individual workouts I will meet each individuals personal goals and prepare them for the next level.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I charge $60 dollars for 1hr and 15min. My session plan is based on each individual client. I work on ball handling with every client, I strongly feel as though each athlete should be able to dribble, and that includes each and every post player.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Former Division I basketball player (Texas A&M University) drafted in the first round of the WNBA draft to the Chicago Sky. Played in Turkey for 2 years and Puerto Rico for 1 year.
