My name is Wyatt Henningsen and I am the owner of KYR defense, come take a class with me let's help the world be a safer place together.
My passion is helping people be more safe and feel comfortable with firearms. Since my time in the military I have a love for the range. When I came across a course for CFI ( certificatied firearms instructor) I have found my passion. A place where I can teach people on situational awareness, and firearms safty. I then launched my own business called KYR defense. In February of 2021. I am a USCCA certified instructor, I have certifications in situational awareness threw SAS and AFSA. I have a passion for making the world a safer place as well as make going to a gun range enjoyable.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My teaching process does not stop in the class room. It is a life lesson learned new everyday. If i can help a student be more confident, prepaired and knows proper steps to take during an incident weather its saving 1 life or many lives, that is all i strive for
