What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I ask questions to find out what they may already know about photograpy and what their goal to learn is. We review what equipment they have and they may need to add.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in commercial photography from Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, CA.

Look at the teachers images to see if you admire and relate to that teachers work.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Try to have a firm idea of what type of subject matter you are passionate about.
