About
The player has to contribute or sits on the pine.
I focus on fundamentals starting with footwork and knowlegde of the game of basketball. Then we work on ball handling and how to attack the defender. Progressing is added when we talk about the passing angles and how to defend.
my biggest skill builder is the jump short with feet/legs/elbow and follow through skill training.
Watching the growth of confidence in young players.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We start with finding out what the student knows and what they want to learn. Drills that show current level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Coached youth sports for 6 years. Played ata high school level.
I still play 3-4 days a week with a group of "aging" athletes :)
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$40 for 60 mintues
$55 for 90 minutes
How did you get started teaching?
I started with youth athletes when I finished college. I then had children of my own and have had great success coaching in local youth basketball leagues. My current youth basketball team is 21-3 over last three seasons with three straight championship game appearances and one win!
What types of students have you worked with?
Ages 4-13 and of all skill levels.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Nothing happens overnight. I can provide buliding blocks to help you get to where you need to go but it takes work. It also will not happen one hour a week. You must put in your homework.
