Wayne Golden is a former collegiate basketball player with over 7 years of experience in skill development and player training. Known for his high-energy coaching style and deep understanding of the game, he’s helped numerous achieve their goals, including earning spots on college teams.
Wayne offers training in both offensive and defensive skills, as well as film study sessions as part of his training approach. He brings the same passion to training that he brought to the court as a player, and he's all about helping athletes grow both on and off the hardwood. An Exceptional Coach and Mentor Who Changes Lives!
Coach Wayne Golden is more than just a basketball coach; he has been a transformational mentor for my 10-year-old son. His ability to connect with and motivate my son, who has ADHD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder, has been nothing short of amazing. Where I struggled with patience, Coach Golden excelled, navigating my sons personality with ease and keeping him challenged and engaged. For the first time, my son was genuinely excited for practice.
Coach Goldens methods are both effective and flexible. He provides tailored lesson plans and even analyzes game videos we send him to create drills that my son can immediately apply. He was always accommodating to our schedule and training location needs.
What truly sets Coach Golden apart is his genuine investment in his students lives. He often called just to check in on my son and integrated life lessons into their practices, reinforcing the values we teach at home. He even dedicated his own free time to fill in as our teams Head Coach when needed.
Under his guidance, my son went from a novice to one of the most effective players on his team. When you hire Coach Golden, you are gaining a coach, a mentor, a big brother, and a friend who becomes a productive and caring part of your familys life. We are incredibly grateful for his impact.
