I have been a firearms instructor in Texas for the last 15 years. We specialize in all levels of training; from basic intro to firearms, through advanced defensive training. I have extensive experience with new shooters, students with physical limitations and disabilities, and special groups.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by discussing the student's current knowledge and experience, then going over the goals the student has. From there, I develop a training plan to meet the needs of my student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Texas License to Carry Instructor. Texas Private Security Level III firearm and classroom instructor. Defensive Tactics Instructor.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$50 per hour, with some structured training modules being a flat fee.
How did you get started teaching?
I realized I have a passion for teaching people, and I was constantly told I am a great teacher and that people relate to me very well. This has been confirmed by countless prior students.
What types of students have you worked with?
Children, adults, male/female, limited abilities and students with special needs or disabilities.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find an instructor that doesn't just do it on weekends for side money. The cheapest instructor is rarely the best.
