Texas Concealed Handgun Academy

Nathan Buck is an NRA certified firearms instructor and a State of Texas certified License to Carry (LTC) instructor, and is an advocate for responsible gun ownership and carry. Nathan encourages everyone he talks to who has their License to Carry a handgun to do just that, carry every day. He also strongly encourages those people to continuously pursue additional firearms and self-defense legal education and training. He wants those that carry their handgun to be an asset, not a liability and he believes that can be achieved through a strong drive to learn as much about the law as one can, while training properly, extensively, and consistently with their firearms.

Having spent over 7 years in the Army as a Sniper Qualified Infantryman, he is a graduate of the Army Sniper School as well as the U.S. Border Patrol Tactical Units Primary Marksman/Observer (Sniper) course. Nathan served in all positions of a Sniper section during his 3 tours in Iraq where he received his Combat Infantryman’s Badge for engaging insurgent forces in combat operations.
