About
Hi , I’m Christine Tyler and am a creative. I’m a mixed media Artist (watercolor, acrylic, oil, digital), sew and make natural skin care. I have an art studio in Wimberley as well as in my home. Being an artist is my second career and is second nature to me as I’ve always had a passion for creating (first career Environmental Health and Safety Specialist) .
It wasn't until I joined two groups "Created to Thrive by Matt Tommy" and "Circle of Blessings by Sara Thurman" did I realize I needed to step out towards a full time creative path. The most recent training came from professional artists Jill Poyerd and Kelly Edington. I have memberships in private Facebook groups "sketching everyday", "fine art spot" as well as "Sparklers Art Club" for art teachers.
I love life and enjoy meeting creative people.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to use the student's interest as a basis for what kind of art to create. Once this is known, supplies are purchased and sent to their home for internet lessons. Or supplies are purchased for training at my ARTON12 gallery in Wimberley.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taken classes from professional artists both live and online. I've also been a creative for more than 20 years.
