What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Beginning with a foundational assessment. The purpose of this assessment is to determine the individual athlete's development pathway and unique style of play in order to personalize a growth plan.
By breaking down activities they struggle in, we can help them overcome mental blocks that arise when learning happens. Empowering them to realize mistakes are gentle reminders for areas of improvement.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Being invited to matches of athletes I've trained competing in college and professional arenas of play as well as hearing the news that they were able to accomplish their vision and now live out their passion. Watching by the TV makes me just as proud.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask yourself about your level of passion not your level of play. To love something is one thing but to love the idea of something is another.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Nothing specific just ask along the way as they come to mind because development is a lot like life in the sense it is far from linear and takes time to develop. Be open to expression of self and questioning to understand external knowledge being taught.
