Leone Personal Soccer Coach
About
Our coach, Leone Cruz, has experience playing in the MLS, NASL, And USL - The top professional leagues in the United States. He is also a former Division I soccer player from Southern Methodist University (SMU, Dallas).
His passion for sharing the game with youth athletes as a coach began when he was 16. Since then he has worked with players at every level of the game. Helping them to continue to enjoy their journey while challenging them to achieve their goals.
Sharing the game with others and building relationships are the foundational part of what I enjoy about serving other players. It can be extremely rewarding when I receive texts, emails, and calls from players and parents sharing their stories of success.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The process begins with connecting on Lessons.com and then proceeds to a phone call with the client. From there we discuss the client's general information, what they are looking for, and how I can help.
The initial sessions is about identifying the player's strengths and weaknesses by communicating with player, parents, and coaches. Next, working the player interpersonally to identify their skill sets and areas that could use improvement.
Once an area is identified, we can begin the process of player development.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a professional personal coach who has been in the game for over 25 years. I have also played at the professional level domestically and internationally. My coaching experience is over 15 years of coaching domestic and international players/teams (Sweden).
