About
I have been teaching full time since 2009.
(1) I teach World Views of the Western World in the flesh, a high school curriculum that covers almost all the credits you need for high school except for science and math. We meet once/week for four years.
(2) I teach math (pre-algebra to calculus) online.
(3) I teach dance: Ballroom (Swing, Tango, Foxtrot, Slow Waltz, and Rumba), Viennese Waltz, and English Country.
I am gratified that parents trust me to help them train their kids to speak to the next generation and to learn the necessary academic skills to excel in their callings.

There are two aspects of this class that make it amazing: the curriculum and the teaching. The curriculum is rich, providing not only an important variety of reading to enrich students overall knowledge, but it also teaches them how they should think and engage with other ideas. The teaching is wonderful: Mr. Woolsey guides students well as they work their way through difficult concepts. He also helps train them up to be well-rounded, well-educated people. They learn not only about the history, philosophy, and apologetics in the coursework, but they also practice their speech and debate skills and learn how to answer hard questions. Nothing could have prepared me better for the academic and spiritual challenges of college than taking this class.

Very professional teacher, knowledgeable in subject areas and wise in helping students grow into their potential. Good classes for students with ability who need a place to stretch and hone their intellectual skills. This is my 9th grade twins first year with WVS and we plan to return next year.
