Hannah H Vocal Studio
About
I have always said that "everyone can sing". Some people joke "well you've never heard me". But, am a firm believer that if someone works hard enough to grow their singing skills, they will improve greatly and be able to sing things they never thought they could. I like to encourage my students to see the skills they already have and help them grow, instead of of using a more negative approach. I am classically trained, but I am majoring in contemporary/commerical performance. But, I teach both styles. If you have any questions feel free to ask!
I love meeting new people and getting to see them grow as musicians. It's the best feeling when you help someone use the talents and gifts they already have and just help them channel it a different way.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to do a preliminary lesson to hear their voice, and get an idea of how they are wanting to grow and talk about what areas they think they struggle most with. I then move on from there with picking out repertoire and vocal exercises tailored to what will challenge them and bring growth. It is a personal thing, so it looks different for everyone.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am classically trained and have taken classical voice lessons since the 7th grade. I went to a performing arts high school where I continued my classical training and started exploring the contemporary side of my voice. I now go to one of the top music colleges in the U.S. majoring in contemporary performance with an emphasis in songwriting. I also grew up singing and leading worship in church.
