Dan's Soccer Training

Coach Dan has helped my 9 year old daughter with improving her soccer skills as she is a beginner. Coach is patient, disciplined and enthusiastic in his instruction. Highly recommend!!

Dan did a great job evaluating my daughter and was able to help her with basics in a fun and engaging way. His patient and adaptive approach helped my daughter tremendously with her skills.

Dan is the man. Im an adult that has played sports before, but never soccer. I learned really quickly that this sport was hard, knew I needed help, didnt want to spend a fortune on lessons, and honestly finding lessons at places as an adult is hard. Dan got to me really quick, we did an intro lesson, and I was hooked. He explains the basics well; doing drills that reinforce the fundamentals and are even repeatable at home. As Im getting better very very slowly he mixes up the training so Im still engaged as well as offering tips here and there that I can apply when Im eventually playing. When Im accidentally sending a pass into the next state or a ball into the stratosphere were having fun.

When I eventually try rec soccer I know I wont be the best player on the field, but Dan will make sure at minimum the basics are down and Im confident in it. If parents have kids and are reading this, I highly recommend him even more. There isnt any pressure like at some high tech super facility, just a good role model that will make you better as long as you try your best. Id say the best part about Coach Dan is that hes played the sport at a very high level, but is humble about it.

Coach Dan is fantastic! He has helped my young daughter sharpen her fundamentals building confidence on the pitch. She loves his demeanor and passion for the game. We have been training with him for over 9 months and will continue to train with him for years!

This year I started playing soccer at a higher level, and I wanted to improve my overall game. A friend of mine recommended Coach Dan. In the small amount of time that I was with him, I was able to improve. I had to work hard during every session, but he made practice enjoyable. He shared a lot of tips and tricks, and I was able to work on many different aspects of my game. I was able to work on my first touch, which needed improvement, while still incorporating other parts of soccer such as shooting, agility, and ball control. We did many different drills, and Coach Dan made some of them feel like a game-like situation. Overall, I am very happy with the one-on-one training I received. I plan to revisit some of my skills with him throughout this coming season. I recommend him highly for soccer players of all levels.

Our daughter has been playing soccer at a recreational level for a few years, but this has been on poor performing, parent coached teams with very minimal development for the players. Once she went into 7th and 8th grade, we thought that her school offer more development opportunities, but unfortunately, they seem to expect the parents to provide them with fully realized players – in fact, many of them do arrive with select soccer experience. In short, we wanted to provide our daughter with select level development, but without the all-consuming select team commitment that tends to crowd out other activities. This is where coach Dan really shines.

He is very knowledgeable about soccer, both as a coach and a player. We are not, so his expertise is very critical. Dan is an engaging coach who makes the development workouts fun. He especially good at coming up with new drills and exercises that keep things from getting repetitive or boring. If you have ever had your child go through structured batting practice in baseball or softball, you would have seen a lot of repetition of drills from workout to workout. Dan’s approach to soccer is the opposite. He’s given our daughter more confidence as a player and more enjoyment of the game.
